Look at the history of Camaro, RS, SS, Z28…all of these Camaro’s have the same shape, those noses on them do not differ from the other so why do you guys think they would start now. Look at the headlights, they are no where near similar to 2010 Camaro. Front fascia and grill is no where near the Camaro styling.

I think someone is doing a front clip replacement for a car show. Why did they do a cameo, you ask? To start a controversy and to have us waste our time on this subject.

I remember a magazine was making fake "Blue Devil" corvettes just to stir the pot. I don't know if that is what this is. If it was GM testing the Z28 I think making it look like a firebird front nose would be an awesome way to stir the pot as well.

Found this...

while it still seems it could go either way on what this is, I sure hope it is a z28. I wouldnt put it passed them to do something like this during testing to mess with people, and they have done some interesting things to hide a test car in the past.
On the other hand, one thing that stands out to me as it just being a fitment test for a body kit....it looks like there are no head lights. Yes it has fog lights it looks like, but dont they still need some headlights even if they are held on with velcro and zip ties like the previous test cars?

theres no way thats a z28 test car. what purpose would the giant wing on the rear be for if they are testing the car?

Blue Devil was a build that GM did. ZR1 Corvette aka "Blue Devil" was developed and you guys know how much of a press bomb shell that was...this I think its some amateur trying to get his name out there or get paid for pictures that to me don't look authentic. When I say authentic I mean, it does not look like what the photographer is stating.

Again I don't believe it the Z28 just because of the extensive work on the front fascia. 5th Generation Camaro's will all look alike with some minor body work like hood, body kit, spoilers, etc.

As far as the Firebird like I said before, GM is dropping Pontiac brand and sending it to Australia where the cars are in heavy demand. I don't see the purpose of the build if its GM but they also bough gold toilet bowl sets for their homes so you never know.

I still stand by my original post that its some wannabe company with equipment to do such a mod on mas production that is trying to still the pot up and get the media to kick it of and hope its a boom. I would suggest they just come out with a full kit and I'm sure people would buy it, after all Firebirds were a bad *** lil cars. I still love my Camaro, can't wait for the new Z28 though, maybe GM dropped in a supercharger for us.

The LS/LT and SS Camaros already have different front fascia.

And from what we have seen of the z28 in the design studio, it too looks different.

Rather improbable, but it sure would be a crafty trick.
Actually, it's quite likely. A while back, Car and Driver did a feature article with a guy that owns a company that does the camo work for the manufacturers. He said that they almost always include styrofoam molds under the camo that creates shapes intended to mislead the viewer. Nothing like the imprint of a Honda logo straining against the inside of the camo to mislead you about the next-gen Fusion that just drove by.

The rear wheels are Camaro wheels, but the fronts look like ZR1 wheels. That makes me wonder what brakes they're trying to clear up there. Perhaps ZR1 brakes?

Every part on the car needs to be road tested.

Yes they look different if you look at the hood and front air scoops but not significantly different that you can tell its not Camaro. Looking at this car from the front you can't tell what it is.

And yeah everything about the pic is questionable, wheels, front fascia, hood, headlights...etc. Car cover of only on front, why not take a picture of the back and put all this to rest, only one reason, its a Camaro on steroids. Maybe the infamous LS9 Camaro so they dropped big ZR1 brakes and wheels...who's gona know?

This is a aftermarket body maker.

You can see the resemblance with all these cars.
