Ouch! Yall's rates are high! I have full coverage w/ $0 deductible comprehensive for $118.00/mo for a 07 Mustang GT(yeah, i know. im waiting to correct it). The difference in the premium for a Corvette was about $18 a month.

The difference is one exists and one doesn't.

i just moved from louisiana and i dont know the facts but i would have to guess that its the highest or in the top 2 in the country. it was brutal, i had a 07' mustang when i moved there and my insurance flew up to almost to what my car note was. the v6 will help but it will still be high

well I would like a deductible for my car tho and I kno Louisiana is high but I kno my parents insurance is good so that shouldn't be much high and I'll put like 10 r 12k on the car when I go to buy it so that will be a big help on my car payments.

0 deductible???? You're paying way more than it's worth for that insurance... I've got 1k on everything across the board and 0 accidents...

hey i turned 25 last year and had all of my tickets finally come off this past october and im clean as a whistle adn my insurance is still high. yeah it went down about 200 a half but im still paying about 1400 a year for a hummer. i have a 01 silverado that i have liability on and im only paying 340 a year for. i really have no idea what ill be paying for ins. for the camaro. ive changed alot of my driving habits since not having a fast car. its been over 3 years since ive had insurance on anything to consider me "high risk".

So many factors go into insurance these days it is ridiculous. I have hard the list consists of something like the following, plus more...some obvious and some make you question why...

Age
Place of residence
Income level
Credit rating
Place of employment
Medical history
Vehicle
Mileage driven per year
Deductable
Home owner or not
Children or not
Who lives in your household with you
Male or female

and on and on and on...

All I can say is good luck to everyone on getting a good rate.

youd be surprised. you might want to check your parents record also. no matter how old they are they could still have a few tickets thats affect you. even that little speeding warning will show up on your record. they take it into concidereation. and only being 19 you got alot of time to mess up that perfect record. i got 2 tickets in the same weekend. lost my liscence for 90 days when i was 16.

i talked to my insurance the other day and they could only give me an idea on a sports car price, he told me once the model came in to view. to get the VIN and msrp and then he cold tell me a very close price to what it would cost. the number he gave me now would roughly put me at $136 a month, which isnt bad at all for a new sports car and im only 20.
