Whizkid, I mean no disprespect when I say this, but technically, if your parents are paying the car payments, you should be calling it "their car that they let me drive". It's an attitude that establishes proper respect for what your parents will be doing for you.

If they put only your name on the title, refer to it as the "car my parents gave me as a gift". I mean, Man, I wish I wouldv'e had parents like that! Wow! Either way, I am very happy for you. That's going to be a heck of a car. Just be sure to give your parents the appreciation and respect that's due them.

My insurance quote was $450 for six months in SoCA.

I am waiting on my 2SS RS. State Farm already had the car rated in their system. I have $500 deductible and high limits but also have homeowners insurance, life insurance and other cars on the policy with no accidents or tickets, married, kids, over 40, etc.

Talking My wife works for an insurance company

We live in MA, and I was afraid to ask her what it would be. When she looked it up it was around $638 a year for 100/300 liability, 250,000 property and 500 deductible. Seems good! By the way that is for a clean driving record. Note: she works for the actual company not an agent, so this is reliable info (quoted a 2SS model)

i wish they were paying for it....i have to get a job to pay for the payments and insurance myself so the car will be mines, i'm just using my dad's name to get better rates other than that he's not even putting 1 dollar on it it's coming from my pocket.
