I'm pretty sure on the options, going with 2SS/RS. I just need to nail down the colors.

Hit one of my local Chevy dealerships today to get a good look at the Red Jewel Tintcoat and Silver Ice colors in person. Luckily there were two vehicles next to each other, one painted Silverstone and one in Silver Ice, that really made the Silver Ice look good in my opinion. The Red Jewel looks good too.

So now I'm trying to narrow it down to one of these six combos; Silver with gray rally stripes, Red Jewel with black or white rally, Red with black or white hockey stripes or black with the Inferno Orange interior and orange rally stripes.

Now what I'm hoping for is a little help from the guys that can Photoshop, doesn't have to be perfect, but better than I can do in MS Paint

And one last request, can anyone confirm if the orange rally stripes will match the inferno orange interior accents

I took the SS off the grille because frankly, I don't like the placement, size, or style.
As for the next three, did you want Jewel Red, or Victory Red? I updated my "hockey stripe" layer so it closely matches the actual production shape. But the hockey stripes also come with one thick stripe over the cowl bulge in the hood.

As far as the Inferno Orange, I don't have an answer- but I would THINK they'd try to match them as closely as possible. But those vinyl things aren't going to hold their color (I think) for any more than a summer or two, especially orange.

Maybe just the red jewel with white and silver with black hockey stripes and that should help narrow it down quite a bit.

Well I think I've narrowed it down to the silver. I'd like to see those stripes in Cyber Gray. And does anyone know what the Midnight Silver wheels look like? Black I assume. I think all I've ever seen is the 5 spoke painted silver wheels.

Outside of the gray and white rally stripes, if the rest are dealer installed, why couldn't I order gray rally and have the dealer install hockey stripes only?

Would like to see that if someone has the time, with both a couple different 20" wheels of course

And thanks again for the help, sure beats going out and buying the RC concept car at the toy store and a bunch of paint.

 

ok- just to clarify:
Silver car, cyber gray hockey stripes on the side, and cyber gray rally stripes on the hood. with the midnight silver wheels? try this one on...not sure about the wheels- i haven't seen pics of what they'll look like.

Would a dealer slap on the hockey sticks for you? I'm sure they would. I don't know how I feel about ANY hood coverage along with the hockeys. Starts to look too much like Ultimate Warrior's facepaint...but it's your car to personalize!

Great work with photoshop. Can I get the red jewel with white rally stripes and add the hockey stripe to it, in white? I would like to have the stripe below the side marker deleted as well. Trying to decide which way to go and these pics are a big help. I do not like the big stripe down the center of the hood and I am not too keen on the stripe below the side marker. If you can help, that would be great. More interested in the striping than anything else if you can help. Thanks!

Yeah, I just wanted to see if there was a way to work the hockey stripes. Doesn't seem to work for me, going with the gray rally only.

I found what I think are the wheels, just a little darker silver, not quite as dark as you have them. Should work OK on the Silver Ice.

Keep in mind that the cyber gray isn't nearly that dark.
