That would be quite a task. There's porbably only one or 2 here that could even attempt that

17" wheels are going to be teh vomit on this car.

With 21/22s on the concept, this thing is going to need to come with at least 19s to make it *look* right.

I don't think 18/19's would look too out of wack.. if even at all.

As long as the overall diameter of the tires remains the same (i.e. larger profile)

Maybe someone can just photoshop a scaled picture with smaller wheels?

Not if the beltline is lower, a 91 Z28 looks quite low on factory 16s. Throw on 17s and it looks VERY nice. 18s and your just getting mean.

Yes but look at the cut of the fenders/wheel openings on a 91 Z28. It was made to look stellar on 17s and good on 16s.

I love the cut of the fenders on the concept... But I don't see the car looking good on 17s or 18s.

Ugh... I don't know if I could stomach seeing 70 series rubber on a contemporary performance vehicle.

Re: Can someone photochop the concept into a "production version"?

I'm working on one... but 18's on this car look like putting a set of 14's on a 4th Gen. They look HORRIBLE. The wheels on this concept are supposed to be 21's and 22's correct?

EDIT: If they are... that puts my calculation of the front wheel well diameter at 29"
Can anybody compare that to the 4th Gen? I'd go outside and measure but it's miserable outside right now. I may go get a measurement tomorrow.

Also, if someone could possibly post up the car's wheelbase again, it may be a better point of reference for scale, rather than the wheel diameter I'm going off of right now.

here's the cars specs:

-Wheelbase (in / mm): 110.5 / 2806
-Length (in / mm): 186.2 / 4730
-Width (in / mm): 79.6 / 2022
-Height (in / mm): 53 / 1344
-Track (in / mm): 63.8 / 1620 front; 63.3 / 1607 rear
-Engine: 6.0-L V-8 LS-2, 400 hp / 298 kw, with Active Fuel Management™
-Transmission: six-speed manual T56
-Suspension: four-wheel independent: MacPherson strut front, multilink rear, --progressive rate coil springs, gas-pressurized dampers
-Brakes: four-wheel disc, 14” rotors with four-piston calipers
-Wheels: cast aluminum, 21” front, 22” rear
-Tires: 275/30R21 front, 305/30R22 rear

hope that helps.

That computes to the following tire heights:
Front: 27.5"
Rear: 29.2"

4th Gen tire height is 25.7"

Going with a "production-realistic" ~27.0" tire height, we could see:
Front: 275/40-18 (26.7")
Rear: 295/35-19 (27.1")
Just guessing.

I have never seen so many photochops of a car, ever. This has to be a new record.
