I like my American cars built in America. Don't care where the parts come from, just want some assembly here...

 

Build it in the US. I'm sick of driving an American car made in Canada with mexican parts. Might as well be an American car made in America with mexican parts.

As long as it makes sense for GM is all anyone should care about. Not this pro American/Pro Canadian crap.

Countries don't exist anymore, its all about the multinational corporations people

 

Canada is part of the Americas but not the US and they are good friends and very good neighbors. In the 4th gens they built a very good car and took pride in doing so. We all need good jobs where ever we live but as has already been said it will be built in the US this time and Canada is not being left out on building cars for GM just maybe not this one.

 

I am kind of hoping that the Camaro and the new redesigned GTO will be built in Oshawa, Ontario. Look at the time frame of the Oshawa plant closing and look at the time frame of the new Camaro being available if it is approved and they are very close. Closing the Number One Plant for Quality does not make sense to me. Also, as stated in Detroit at the Heritage Centre, a lot of the people that were working on the Camaro Concept have now been transferred to Australia for a few years. I am thinking that the redesign of the GTO is timed with the Camaro release and the GTO will be able to be sold in Canada. Also, since there is no Firebird, the GTO will take its place for Pontiac. JMHO .

 

American Muscle means built in the US. Not built in Canada or Mexico.

Somehow I dont think Canadians pissing and moaning about how GM owes them the right to be able to build the car is going to get them anywhere.

 

check posts again. Its Americans that **** and moan about the opinion the car MUST be made in the US.

If it weren't for us Canadians you guys would not have made it to the moon!
