First off I know I'm going to be virtually flogged for not getting pics.
I work for a Chevy dealership and yesterday I heard a nice rumble coming from outside the window. I turned and saw a new white ZL1 Camaro outside my window! The guy who was using it had stopped in to check for some trans fluid from our service department. I don't know why it was low but I didn't really care. I ran out to check out the car! It looked amazing!
As the sales staff was out drooling in the lot he came out and was bombarded with questions. He was very nice but was in a hurry so we didn't keep him too long. My iPhone didn't have enough memory to get any pics!! He only had 33 miles on the clock so he would not get too aggressive with it but did give some nice revs. As he was leaving he also got into the go pedal a bit and the car took off like a rocket!
Kudos to GM! I can't wait to see another one. One of the salesmen already has an order for one and we are waiting for it to come in.
I'll try and get with some of the guys who did get some pictures and get them up tomorrow or Sunday if I have time. Just wanted to share this with some other people who can appreciate this.

 

I never even thought about a CTF ZL1. That would be a cool thing to be offered.

 

On Christmas eve, I was on the west side of Michigan seeing my family. I was on the highway between Grand Rapids and Lansing headed eastbound. What do I see heading westbound in the other side of the highway? A yellow ZL1. I only saw it for a few seconds.

 

One of your coworkers must have taken some pictures. Get them posted!

 

They are definitely out there. I have seen them around.

Oddly, in the non-lake effect area's of Michigan. We have literally gotten no snow this winter. It's been 40's all week. I still have my summer tires on.

 

I tried posting some pics that a coworker had taken. I can't seem to get them to work. I have them at photobucket and I can't see them there even. They are from an iPhone. Anyone have any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

I saw a yellow one also Thursday or Friday one the way to work! I was waiting to turn onto Milford Rd. south off Pontiac Trail and while at the light saw a yellow ZL1 headed north, presumably home to the proving grounds. I honestly got to say that I think the white one looked better but then again I got to get up close with that one.

 

I so want to hae a ZL1 in front of my camera.... drool
