well it wasnt public until a few weeks ago about the actual date but there was alot of speculations about it being in december.

 

IIRC, the December speculation was when pricing would be available, not the ability to order/pre-order.

dealer here just got an email stating that production cars won't be available or seen on the road till late Jan. early Feb. he last got an update saying production wouldn't start till Feb. 16, 2009.


not sure how much has changed or how fast it is changing but that's a lot of confusing dates and at least it sounds like we should have them out just in time for spring and summer fun....

he also sent me a link with that date posted at the bottom of the screen.

At the GMNext Camaro reveal event on July 21 they unequivocally said that start of production was February 16. That is correct.

 

So wheres the info for the RS package ???

Am I reading that wrong, or are there no black rally stripes -- only grey?

 

Only white and cyber gray factory installed. You can order black for dealer installation.

 

Did I miss it somewhere, or is there no mention of the ambient lighting package?

 

I didn't see any mention of it in the "brochure" either. That being said, my understanding is that it is blue unless you get the Interior Accent Trim Package, in which case it will be orange.

 

That's what I got out of it. The accessory trim kits mentioned something along the lines of "for those with the factory lighting kit". Might be something to check into.

 

I wish I could get one. This just makes me want one more than I already did.

 

I thought it had true duals? Whats with the performance cat back?
