Man DI is a piece of work. The V6 has an 11.3:1 compression ratio and still runs 87 octane. The V8 is 10.7:1 and requires premium. I'd love to see what DI could do for a V8.

Just for comparison, 23 mpg is by the NEW standard. By the old standard that is still more than the LT1 and LS1. Actually not sure about the LS1. Probably the same or higher.
So far I can't find any short comings with this car.
True duals.
400+ hp V8.
3 engines.
4 trannies.
Killer design.
Great sound.
Spacious interior.
And from the looks of it, it will spank the current Mustang and Challenger.
I'm very happy and as soon as I can scrape together enough cash I will own a top dog one.

I found at least 4 colors that I like. You cant go wrong with Victory Red, Rally Yellow, Inferno Orange Metallic, Cyber Gray Metallic. You really cant go wrong with the Black either, but i dont include that because my brother has a Black Mustang, so im not gonna buy black.

The LS7 is at 11.0:1 now with premium gas. A change to 12.5:1 and still requiring premium gas should be good for well over 50hp. But we REALLY want to see it on the LS9! I am sure that adding direct injection could get that engine over 700hp...

I really am most impressed with the V6 LT with an RS package Red or Orange, with the 20's!
Any news on the exhaust systems? do V6 models get duals? I've never seen a photo of the rear not showing dual outlets.
LSD, is this going to be standard for all models? or an option for the V6?
I wish we could view the wheels and individual options and availability were announced today, did anyone notice steel wheels standard on LS?

So please help me out... There are going to be 2 v-6 options and 1 v-8 option? and why do I see the RS picture??? Is it going to be something I can buy extra like and ss/rs? about a month ago I saw and sat in for the first time one of the new dodges. it looked good but I 'm a Camaro guys so I did not like it as much :-) what I did notice was the super high price tag of $40k? I'm thinking with the 20' wheels and the only v-8 offered this car is going to be well in the $40k's. Thats sad because it's going to leave all the mid 20 something guys like my self out in the cold just wishing :-((((((

Yep they do too ....in a X-pipe , 2 resonators and 2 mufflers configuration . The 3.6 oughta sound VERY good out the tailpipe .
Now onto my SS ....cyber grey or Imperial blue?? Decisions decisions . Im am hurt a little I dont see Jetstream blue in there . Jetstream blue with a competition grey wheel option would have been insane looking .
They really went over the top on details , wow .

I feel tingly all over!! GREAT EXECUTION GM!!
Is it just me, or does it sound like BLOWER WHINE in the video??
I've watched/listened to it 5 times now, and it keeps giving me goosebumps. I swear I can hear a whine.
