I would have seen it just from a hint that there would be american V8's displayed in the movie. Now I will definitely see it.

This tells me many many things about the future of the Camaro. I was unsure that they were willing to make more than a few different types of Camaros (RS, SLP?, Saleen?)...Now I know they are going all out.

This is amazing. This almost ensures production and soon doesn't it? I mean if they use it in a movie then it has be be made right? Or am I just crazy with high hopes? I seriously cannot pick my jaw up off the floor.

do we have any idea what that actually is. i dont think chevy would have built another concept just for this movie, but i also dont think they would have let them build a mockup of the car on a different chasis with out permission either. so i guess what ever has happend it has approval from GM, right, not production mind you, but the user of the car for the movie. another thing, this seems to be alot of push for a car that their not even sure their going to build yet and if they do will not be out for another 4 years. i dont know if everybody looked at the pics on the other site, but whats with the 2g on there also. theres a lot of question they this may raise, but on another note it does look great.

Just my $.02, but it appears that it is a real car. Speculataions were that there were no brake calipers. If you look closely at the pic & zoom in a little, you can tell that there is a caliper there, it's just covered by those 'cross drilled' looking brake covers. Zoom in & you'll see what I'm talking about. Also, notice the variations of shading, right above & right below the wheel spoke, between the 'fake' rotor & the edge of the wheel.....Guys, I think this is legit.

unfourtanatly is dosnt, because no one knows where the car came from, saleen or someone else could have specially built it for the movie with no help from GM at all, except approval to use the camaro name and body.

I will garantee you that GM , even with Saleen comissioned had every last say of how that car used .....and still probably had the same secruity it had at the auto shows . It probabaly had more body gaurds than the actors ...seriously

i was just thinking as i was outside, the the movie releases in summer 07 right? therfore, its possible it could be a perfect primer for a fall 07 or early 08 launch. maybe it is comming sooner that everyone thinks.
