For some reason, that just bothers me!

Here's a link to the thread.

Scroll almost all the way down. It definitely has an automatic console.

Re: CJMATT did see the new camaro!!!

as someone who designs auto interiors for a living, I can tell you that the inside of that is more than just a simple mustang switcharoo. The gauges are exactly like how I wouldve designed them and one of the things i knew they would have to change from the concept.

Scotts got some explaining to do...

Re: CJMATT did see the new camaro!!!

guages are different, more production looking, you can see they have a gas and probably temp guage with the speed/tach now

center console has less leather and has a brush aluminum look, but i'm sure it's plastic.

radio area is different

wheel is the same

seats are different, regular seat belt and buckle set up vs. trick one on the concept

auto shifter

console guages are the same, but probably show different stuff now that there are two guages in the "normal" area.

Wonder what's in that binder :-)

Re: CJMATT did see the new camaro!!!

Scott said they only built two concepts righhhttt? and we all know he wouldnt lie
So if this isnt a concept...then what is it? A prototype?
How many prototypes did they build scott?

yeah, if you look at the doors, the handles are now rotated upwards to where you can actually hold them comfortably and close the door...why would anyone care about the passengers ability to close a door comfortably for a mock up just used for a movie....oh and i think there may be a mappocket in there too, who gets lost on a movie set and needs a mappocket?

Re: CJMATT did see the new camaro!!!

First change I notices is that the angel wing front blinkers are gone. In their place the headlights seem to be extended to fill them in. Interior looks MUCH better! Paint scheme is awesome! Blue with white stripes in that scheme would be perfect! Not sure if I like the headlights on the edges though...

You sure it's the headlights extending over? It could be clear lenses over amber bulbs rather then the 'angel' ones from the concept. That would fit in with the popularity of clear signal lenses.
