has anyone used the GM college grad discount offer. ive been reading up on it and says eligibility includes college students (from 2 or 4 year school) college grads (graduated within 2 years), nursing students, and grad students. the deal said supplier pricing would be offered. and the only vehicle the site claims to not be eligible is the vette zr1. i was wondering if anyone has used this and if so were they fully honored at final price. i asked my dealer today and they dont seem to have any idea about it and only know about the $500 rebate going until nov 30th. i may just put my order in tomorrow so im definately bringing this discount info with me to show them. and if they refuse the program i just may have to go else where, unfortunately.

 

Yes, you should be able to use it. That doesn't stop the dealer from adding a mark-up though.

When you go in to the dealer you also have to bring proof of attending school.

 

i printed my code, and will provide an unofficial transcript, showing im still active in college. and they claim they only sell at msrp. but for some reason they may have never been asked about this before, which makes me think they are not participating in it.
