If GM wanted to make a Camaro with a retro feel to it, then Hugger Orange is a must!

Why is it called Hugger Orange? Does it make the Camaro look so good, you want to hug it? Seriously- I know there is a real reason. I did a search and got linked to the care bears home page. Anyone know the real reason?

 

I think the first generation camaros were referred to as road huggers or something like that. I don't know for sure, but somebody else might.
