Is the concept a go?

Is the concept a go?
I was reading an article in Chevy High Performance about the Camaro concept at the NAIAS. In the article it said the the production vehicle should be out for either the '08 or '09 model year.
Now when the consept was shown back in January, there was no plan to build a production vehicle. Nearly three months later has GM made a decision about the production of the Camaro concept? But, perhaps the article writer was just extending wishful thinking?

Re: Is the concept a go?
Someone at GM (Lutz?) has said that it would go to production in the '09 model year at the earliest, implying that if they did decide to build it, we wouldn't see it until then.
AFAIK, that's the most official statement out so far.

But I hardly ever look into the 5th gen section. I was considering Chevrolets other product. But if Chevy gets their act together the 5th gen may be just the thing I'm looking for.
