Re: Concept still planned for GM Nationals at Carlisle?
I'm thinking about stopping in Carlisle on my trip to NY on friday. Would it be worth stopping at around noon? Do you think the concept be set up by then? Thanks for any replies.

Jim85IROC..yes the concept car is there, I saw it today. I was at the fairgrounds to get an early jump on available parts for my 69 (I live about 20 miles from Carlisle). It's in the last building, farthest from gates 1, 2 and 3....the building closest to the car corral. Actually, that's why I found this site, as soon as I got home I went online to find out more about the car. It looks great, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one if they produced it (what Camaro guy wouldn't?!?).
BaddAss93TA...I don't know of a 'closing time' for any show. I go every year...Spring Carlisle, the GM Nats, Fall Carlisle, heck, I even go to the Ford show once in a while! Anyway, Sunday is wrap up day. Vendors start packing up around noon or so and by late afternoon it's really clearing out. They have the 'must be in attendance' raffle giveaway at 3:00 PM on Sunday for that reason. Most who do stay till 3:00 for the raffle are gone by 4:00! On Friday and Saturday, vendors start closing up and heading to their camper or hotel at around 7:00 PM.
Hope this helps...if anyone wants to know some tips on routes to cut through the traffic, give me a shout - but I won't give up my top, top secret back roads!
One more thing - thunderstorms are in the forecast, there's a heck of a lightening storm going on now as I type. Tomorrow should be interesting.
