In my opinion it looks like they listening to the different competitors sounds and are comparing and contrasting the V-8 and V-6 Engine tones of their future competitors like the Mustang and Charger to get a good feel of where they want the tone and sound of the Camaro to sit nicely in between. Not Loud and over the top like the stang...I like that, but not humble at idle like the charger...don't like that.

This is what I can think of at the moment, other than that maybe they're watching the new ZR-1 go head to head with that prototype Camaro down in Australia on a dyno or around a track and comparing those engine notes...to find a balance.

One thing though....Why would someone like a Tom Peters come all the way over from Design to listen to an exhaust? He has NOTHING to do w/ that element of the Camaro, and he is a busy man.

Scott's there, Cheryl's there...Tom Peters (I think that's him) is there which immediately means is has to be something Camaro...I was expecting a prank question...

The earphones mean that the sounds needed to be critically analized, without any distractions (hence the identical sheets everyone is holding), and the room is not acoustically equipped...

Most of the attendants seem quite amused, if not, happy...

And everyone, generally, (what's that face for Scott?) staring at one point in the room. however, the computer, nor the projector lamp has any video on it...only graphs/sound bytes....so, although it seems too obvious -

I'd say you're all reviewing possible exhaust notes, and those in attendance are to "grade them".

Organizationally, Peters has more to do with Camaro than Fbodfather... but Scott's in the room too.... and the Holden folks had a bit of a longer commute than Peters.

Well, I'm a little late on this game here, but I too thought they were listening to exhaust notes. That doesn't mean it's the only thing they did, warranting a trip up for the Holden folks. Just what this is a picture of.

I'm just suffering from withdrawal since there are no LS1s in my garage for the first time since '02.

Listening to a focus group's reactions to a Camaro marketing scheme.

Or trying to tune the exhaust so it sounds more like:

That was going to be my guess. However, since you guessed that I will say they're watching a Camaro commercial featuring Bumblebee.

Of course, but i DID say that at "this particular meeting" it appears that the locals drove from across town, while the Aussies seemed like they were already there.

The question is, what could Scott showing them? The fact that they're meeting over at the Milford proving grounds (and the fact that some of the principals drove over there from somewhere else to have this meeting) leads me to believe that it has something to do w/ testing the car at Milford. Why Scott would be in that capacity, I don't know, but being that he is more on the Marketing/History side, You would think it has to be something related to that, possibly using data of some sort derived from testing at Milford.
