I have to agree that those interior shots give it a look of what we can expect from a more production version of the interior.
I had my reservations on the interior but after seeing those I think with a few subtle changes and more realistic materials it will be a class act interior!

Two possible choices.. it's a concept that wasn't complete yet (they just didn't have them on the car) or it could be that the trunk is actually kept open by a metal spring... just as they were in the 60's.
I'd prefer the sprung approach. The struts never wear out and don't have trouble opening on cool days. I always hated that about the 3rd and 4th gens.
My 02 doesn't like using the automatic release, even after a replacement spring... My third gens just hated holding the hatch up regardless of the temp.
