CZ28.com Speical Edition POLL-EXHAUST

Ok, you had to know a poll was coming. Not putting the cart before the horse here, but lets have a little fun w/ this. I was just curious to see how impossible it would be to make us all happy w/ a CZ28.com special edition so lets vote on what type of mods we would like on the car. Note that there are several polls covering various areas of potential modifications, so vote in all of them.

Re: CZ28.com Speical Edition POLL-EXHAUST

I think mild would be the best, something a little louder from stock, but nothing too nasty.

I'd most definitely pay for a Corsa. And this won't be too far fetched, since they're on GM parts catalog.

I like the idea of quiet to loud and back at the flip of a switch...

Re: CZ28.com Speical Edition POLL-EXHAUST

I like the idea of getting ahold of one of the pre-production Camaros, and installing about half a dozen different exhaust configurations, and having a panel of CZ28 members rate them for sound quality. Once we have tried the systems out, we vote.

I VOLUNTEER!

We'll start out with stock, Corsa, and GMMG Nasty. I'd also look at Hooker Aerochamber (my personal favorite), Borla Stainless, and something in stainless steel from SLP or maybe Random Technology.

Re: CZ28.com Speical Edition POLL-EXHAUST

The chambered option, hands down. But an aftermarket option is only as good as the factory set-up. I sure hope GM puts a real dual exhaust on the Camaro and forgets that less than appealing single pipe deal, 82-2002.

Re: CZ28.com Speical Edition POLL-EXHAUST

voted for mild, as I don't want it too loud. I'll just install the cut out later....but then you can just open the cut out just a little for mild, or have the option to close it up or open it fully....but not sure on the clearance....

Re: CZ28.com Speical Edition POLL-EXHAUST

I'd like the Z28's to just come with electric cutouts. Not like the 'programmed' ones on the Z06, just normal switches. That would be awesome.

Re: CZ28.com Speical Edition POLL-EXHAUST

I would hope that the stock exhausts follows the GTO with factory true duals..

Re: CZ28.com Speical Edition POLL-EXHAUST

I vote GMMG style .

As far as "true duals", did you guys not see the chassis blueprints that floated around late last year when the concept pics were "leaked"? As per the drawing, they're true dual .

And all you had to do was look under the car at the car show to see them!! All I have to say is it's about time!!

Re: CZ28.com Speical Edition POLL-EXHAUST

As long as it remains a true dual system with symetrical exhaust tips(no CME), I'm cool with it. GM has sound standards it has to follow, so a GMMG-style sound is likely not do-able. If it matches the GTO sound I'd call it a job well done.
