I'd rather doubt that one could ever convince GM to equip a car with electric cutouts. You'd probably have better luck getting them to give you the code for editing the ECM's fuel maps, and we all know how GM tries so hard to prevent cracking of that code.

Thats already been dealt w/ by the aftermarket, theres a switch now. Or you can just pull the magic fuse and have them open all the time.

I never implied that GM would install the cutout, it would be done by the aftermarket shop that would do all the other things we're talking about.

Re: CZ28.com Speical Edition POLL-EXHAUST

I vote for either of these two options which I didn't see:

Full Exhaust, Headers, custom X pipe with dual cutouts, and GMMG Chambered Exhaust.

Or

Headers with with stock mid pipe, and a special Z06 style Mufflers.

Shoot at this point not knowing what our engine options are I really don't know for sure yet.

All I do know is that I like my exhaust to be relatively quiet and un assuming until I decide to un cork it...I like peoples faces next to me when I uncork. I especially love going from relative silence and opening the cutout and people all around me start rolling up their windows.

I voted for the mild option, figured it would go over the best with the general public.
