delivery mileage

When my 2SS arrives at dealership, what is a reasonable odometer reading. I'm concerned that there might be a little pre delivery "joy" testing by the staff.

the miles should be below 10 unless it was in quality control which it should then have between 30-40.

Mine had 8 on it, that includes the dealer running up the street to fill the tank. If anyone took a joy ride... it was a quick one. The car had 12 miles on it after my test drive.

Mine had 11 but I asked them to take it for a spin to make sure there was nothing wrong with it before I made the 5 hour trip to pick it up.

5 on mine too. The car arrived at the dealership over the weekend and I couldn't get in until tuesday to pick it up. My salesman parked it behind hhis office and locked the keys in the safe so no one could take it for a joyride or take out customers on test drives.

I've heard it all depends. It should be no more than 10mi. but if it's up to 40mi. then ask your dealer if it was one of the bunch that got put into the quality control batch as GM had to keep a few after a couple of cars had slight problem with it. If that the case and they say that yeah it was part of the qulity control hold then it shouldn't be a problem with the high mileage.
