Really a shame that no other cities in the country have baseball teams........

I was just at a game last week, and was wondering why they had a yellow Camaro in the outfield fountain display. They have had a nice shade of Orange available since day 1...

They never said one has over 16 thousand horsepower.

Unless this is a single custom one off car done for Detriot, it could be something like

Stamped = more than one

1600 / 400 hp = 4 Camaro SS's with Detroit Tigers appearance packages

1 Camaro = 430 hp which is more than 400 and therefore you wind up with more than 1600

It said there will be 16, 614 horsepower stampeding there = 39 LS3 Camaro Convertibles.

I wonder if there is some significance to the 39?

If they made one for your favorite team, would you buy it?

I was there on Thursday and saw it myself.

Otherwise...some of you guys suck at math.

It will not be one car. It will be a limited edition run, and adding up the horsepower of all of them comes to 16,61.

Depending on how it looked - I might. I just find it hard to believe the Tiger's have such a big following to justify a special edition Camaro. I can see maybe the Yankees or Red Sox, but the Tigers........don't see it.

I agree, but it might be a "Detroit thing" or it might also be the start of many.

If so...the outcry for GM "forgetting its roots" would be deafening if they didn't either make it for Detroit or at least start in Detroit, even from those who have no plans to buy the Camaro...or any Camaro for that matter. You all know how it goes by now.

Maybe this is going to be like the NHRA edition was on the fourth gens. Dealer installed kit kind of thing.
