It'll be very interesting to see where this engine proliferates into the line-up - both car and truck.
And I wouldn't be surprised if this new diesel also delivers 400 ft/lbs of torque all under 1,800 rpm.

I am so happy to see the smaller diesel confirmed, it will be a huge hit! Guarantee in my area that alot of Ford guys will be looking at a GM Truck with a smaller diesel.
Now I think GM should have an even smaller one for the smaller cars. I would buy a Diesel Aura, or something of that nature.

If it was RELIABLE I think it would be great. Usually diesels are built with stronger parts because they have to be. And someone would definetly develop a turbo kit as well for it. Diesels can handle quite a bit of boost.
