For once, I agree with you. Maybe that's twice now. Anyway, what will it really turn out to be? That's the question.

Don't know... crystal ball is broken...

I'll tell you this though...

4000 lbs. is an absolute disaster, 3400 lbs. would be ideal.

Time for a Navy vs. Marines joke...

Question:
Did you know that the Marine Corps is part of the Department of the Navy?

Answer:
Yep... that'd be the "Men's Department".

Here here!

If the car weighs 4000lbs vs 3600lb for example.. that's 400lbs.

For people that say that 4000lbs is acceptable, 400 lbs is 10% or 1/10th of 4000 lbs. Think of that 10% in terms of reduced:

acceleration
handling
braking
fuel economy

Hmmm, 10% is a big honkin slice in my book.

Yeah, but....but....but....slap a blower on that iron-blocked puppy, then a pulley, and we'll make up for it!!!!

Erm...

I'm pretty sure there won't be any iron blocks in the Camaro's future.

You mean a 4000lb Camaro isn't a good idea after all!?

The issue here is the virtual carryover of the heavy VE/Zeta platform.

3.9L DoD OHV is iron block. There is a good chance that will be the base engine unless GM goes aluminum with the OHV V6's

Obviously I'm incorrect. Please pardon my momentary lapse of reason (momentary is up for debate).

4000 seems unlikely, 3400 seems a pipe dream.

Ok Bob, the first joke was funny, but youre just out of line...

I would settle for 3600lbs but much more and I will be dissapointed.

Are you thinking 3800? At the rate things are going, Mustang GT500 coming in at around 4000, 3600 might be a pipe dream as well.
