Does this mean 2009 Trans Am??????
I have heard nothing of a 5th gen Pontiac T/A. Does anyone know if this is a possibility? We can't have a million Camaro's in every neighborhood. We gotta split it up with some Pontiac's don't you think?

no, there will be no Trans Am.
That is unless the Camaro is a grand slam, and they sell 150k of them for the first few years, then I'd say its a possibility, but still highly unlikely.

Read what guionM and Fbodfather say. That basically sums up the answer to your question.

No. No Firebird.
GTO will be on the Zeta chassis, along with the replacements for the Impala, Grand Prix, and Monte Carlo (if the MC even survives).
everybody who complains about it, tough luck. It's not coming back - at least not in 2009.
