Well, that article addresses the engines to be offered. Lotsa speculation about that going on.

 

Forgive me, but, I'm not all that familiar with Edmunds. How trustworthy are they or how often do they get things right? Besides my wanting it to come out sooner than later, this just doesn't sound right.

 

It seems like alot of different dates are being thrown into the mix. I'll believe it when I see it I guess.

 

I've noticed Edmunds and GM have a tie-in on TV commercials lately. That could be significant. Perhaps Edmunds is close to the source?

 

That would majorly suck, but it sounds about right. Remember the solstice took some 3+ years to come out too.

 

Huge mistake if they drag their feet that long.

I will probably buy a challenger if it doesnt come out for 4 years

 

Well, if it takes that long, at least my current put put mobile will be a LOT closer to being paid off. Coupled with more saving time I suppose.

Though that little upside doesn't outweight my desire for it to come out sooner.

It's been almost 4 years already....what's another 4? Think of it this way....you're halfway there.

 

I'm not buying that.......it just doesnt makes sense.

 

I will wait to hear from GM, but if it is true, then it is monumentally stupid on GM's part. I hope that GM is smart enough to fast track this program, in order to capitalize on the hype and success of the concept.

 

The people on this site, who are just about 99% right of the time, are saying 18 months to two years…..

If it takes 3 ½ years to come out they might as well not build it…..that time frame is just ridicules with the amount of work already done.

 

GM would not have shown the concept if it could not be out within a reasonable timneframe. A lot of the work has already been done...it is just a matter of setting up a line and getting suppliers. I say 08 if Lutz wants it this bad. All of the infor in this article could be gleamed from reading this site.

 

Maybe this "source" is working on parts that are only for the Z/28 or SS (the one coming later.)...
