Even though the pictures were leaked...

Even though the pictures were leaked...
I'm still going to be like a kid in a candy store when that car rolls onto the stage. My eyes are going to light up... my face is going to have a grin so wide I might knock down the two people standing next to me.
We've waited for almost 4 years officially (unofficially longer than that) for word that our beloved Camaro was not dead inside of GM. Monday, officially that day comes. People, we've been waiting... and thank god GM didn't disappoint us.
Scott always said to keep the faith and most of us did. Even when GM was building the very last 2002 Camaro off the line (which I had the great pleasure of driving), and even when they started tearing down the plant that built that very car. When Ford unveiled a new mustang and there was no new Camaro, we STILL had faith in GM and Scott. Monday, yes, just a few days away, that faith will be rewarded.
Thank you Scott, thank you thank you thank you.

You guys remind me of me... I didn't think such people existed... but I timed my trip to the States too early ... by around 6 months... anyhow, I hope we get this car in Aus. Monaro, Camaro... who cares, as long as its muscle cars we get?

I share your enthusiasm Merv. I wish no pics were leaked early but after seeing them I WILL own this car when it comes out, no doubt about that. Im already excited just seeing the pictures, cant wait for the unveiling!

Won't it be a surprise when it's announced the base engine is a 4 cylinder supercharged ecotec making 220hp with a 6 cyl $5000 option and it's AWD?

I doubt there will be a 4 cylinder in a 5th gen. I think GM will stick to the v-6 & v-8, with possibly 2 v-8 options.

Yes, yes yes! The more pics I see the more I like the car. Having seen some shots which show the car from above and from the side, I've really warmed to the sharper lines of the car (which remind me a bit of the r33/r34 Skyline). I really am diggin' the ducktail spoiler and the powerful rear fender flares. I need to see a rear shot, but I'm hoping GM has a smash hit on it's hands here.
Drool. Please make this car GM (with a few tweaks)! I'll take mine in 1999 Corvette Nassau Blue with a six speed stick, 400 HP V8 and a hardtop please . Best looking thing that has come out of GM in ages. Better looking than the C6 IMO.
