Final CTF Road Trip in 296

We took a last minute vacation to South Carolina. My wife just landed a new job (with less vacation) so we were compelled to take a last minute trip.

So we drove 296 to South Carolina for some golf.

296 remains a wonderful ride. Still one one of the most comfortable trip cars I've driven. For an LS3 SS, 24 + MPG and supreme comfort still amazes me.

And as we did with Number 3 to California over Christmas, and with Thor over Easter, we managed 2 sets of clubs and all of our luggage in the trunk.

We are still getting plenty of looks, and even a few cameras. But the amazement we experienced in December is slightly diminished. We have even seen another SIM Camaro here on Hilton Head Island.

So maybe it isn't the biggest news to be driving a Camaro on a road trip anymore, but the enjoyment and the experience are no less than when we had one of the first VERY few Camaros in California, now 7 months ago.

Here are a few links to some additional pictures we took this trip. Enjoy!!

An awesome trip. Drove straight through yesterday to get home. 950 miles. No fatigue, no cramped legs, just a great drive. I think the 2010 Camaro may just be the world's best GT on top of all it's other great attributes. Just a supremely comfotable car on the highway.

Here are a few pics just to close out the trip.
