wow, a delorian and a 5th gen. Bad ***! The Delorian looks a little bit intimidated by the 5th gen. The new guy's a lot bigger and meaner looking! As Marty Mcfly said; Lets see if these bastards can do 90 :-)

Funny tidbit: I saw a Delorean on a dyno once. RWHP was 87. I think 90mph is just about all you could expect.

Close, 2,712 lbs.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DeLorean_DMC-12

I had a 2500-lb Civic with 125hp at the flywheel. Figuring 20% drivetrain loss through the automatic transmission, that's 100hp at the wheels. That car was capable of 120-ish MPH.

Add some weight, drop some power...

is that delorean black? werent they all stainless? hows the flux capacitor working?
Usually if you find a Delorean that is painted, there is a possibility that that vehicle had some kind of damage. Since you really can't fix stainless steel and make it not noticable, they would usually paint them.

Just sold the Delorean today. Sad to see it go, but need the room and money lol.

The delorean was painted black by my uncle about 15 years ago before these were collectibles. He loved how the lotus espirts looked and wanted to paint the delorean to make it look like one.

There was no body damage on the car.
