The wheels on that concept are the extremely close to or exactly the same as the SS Concept wheels arent they?

Re: a Finished 5th Gen....???

Hmmm, guess I better get my flame suit on LOL.

At this point I just ain't digging it totally.

I really want to see the concept in real life and the production versions.

When the new GTO was announced I was all over it. I though it looked great until I walked around them etc. at a dealership when the very first 04's came in.

I tired to get myself to like them, just can't. I have just never warmed up to the looks of that car, but man do I love the 6.0 mill in it now.

I am strange, I have always liked a lot of Ford stuff through the years but I still prefer the chevy small block at the end of the day.

My 50 merc has a chevy in it, both my 32's, and so on.

I like the new gen GM engines better than the 4.6 Ford has.

I did not like the a lot of things about the concept Mustang, and I actually like the production version better.

I loved the 300 from the start and still do.

I was not digging the Charger at first but then it grew on me and now I have one. I know most of you think it is "fugly" etc.

I like the Challenger concept, but that's just me.

I will have to reserve final judgement for now even though I am not liking alot of things about that car.

The rear and tailights really throw me off.

I could go on.

Even with all of this, what I will say is thank the Lord the 'maro is going to return.

I really have missed them.

I can't wait for the Cobra vs Z28 vs Challenger stuff.

The fun is back.

A lot of people don't seem to like the tail lights. I guess I'm strange, because I love 'em. You can see them "in action" in the video and they look even better still, IMO.

That is a very nice car. The boys at GM have done a great job. Now, let's see what the engineers can give us for performance. The HP competition from Chrysler and Ford is really tough. '09 can't come fast enough.

Wrt the front fog (driving?) lights... instead of the round lights I wish the Camaro team went with the "mean eye" look of the RHS of the rendering in the leaked photo. It tends to match up well with those rear lights (which I love, btw... because they're non-conventional).

OK...saw the video (wow, what a poorly produced video at that...sorry, I'm a video editor, I notice these things.). Not sure if I like the tail-lights and those drawings of the interior are ugly. But the nose doesn't look as pointy from the other angles...I'm still diggin' it.

I don't like the rear end. Love the front, love the grill, love the SMALL side mirrors...just not the rear end. I'll have to wait and see it in person

Sooner the better, but I need some time to save up

Re: a Finished 5th Gen....???

that thing is hideous. the thing that kills it is the front end. those tires look too tall. what happened to some nice fat 15's?

anybody else see this on the R&T site? http://www.roadandtrack.com/article....rticle_id=3104

if that's priced decent, i'll be looking at that when i'm really to buy again.

Edit( No this is not a buch of Civic owners, the "Si vs All" portion of ClubSi is made up of car nuts. Maybe 2 poeple own Civics which is about 1% of the people on this portion of the Forum)

This is a board of people who are car enthusiasts, not Camaro loyal owners. None of the responses are too great. When the pics were leaked a few weeks ago, many more of them liked that car in the hopes it would be tweaked for the better. Looks like it was tweaked and became worse.
Ha, I made that post there knowing full well it would get bashed. ClubSi is an awesome forum, I am there every day; but they are very quick to flame something then eventually warm up to it. They bashed the Challenger when it first leaked too. Its grown on most of them now. As better pictures and specs come out, it will begin to grow on people. Drastic changes always insight an initial shock reaction. I hated the 98+ camaro when it first came out, but a new grill and SS hood later, I liked it more than my 94. I hated the new Vette and Viper, now I love em. Give it time.
