What they may draw is that baby boomer who switched to imports but has fond memories for the original pony cars, which they grew up with. I just wish everyone would wait to see it in person before coming to conclusions. The video may not even be acurate as far as the production model goes. Since production is a few years off, if a retro interior is not wanted, now is the time for the public to speak up about it. A lot of people have personal preferences are are always going to hate anything from the "other" guys, so take everything with a grain of salt. Don't get upset if clubsi hates a Camaro, as I'm sure there aren't too many handa fans here!

There very well may be changes to either before they see production...
I want to see under the hood and an interior before I make judgement. I like bits, I hate others. But again, this is just a Concept Car. I'll hold any final judgement till I sit in one on a dealership lot.

If this is what they're going to put out as a 'potential' new Camaro they should at least make it look like it won't be a gigantic boat around the corners. Maybe the actual performance will be different than the looks.

/\me too!
And just IMO.... It looks like a futuristic Camaro to me.
Ford made a '67 Mustang again basically and aparently Dodge chiseled an old clay Challenger but this Camaro really has some forward looking lines! Sweet!

Er, not sure if you're kidding, drunk, or the guy who drew the pic. The real thing beats that ugly concept by miles. GM has done an excellent job. Now they have to build a solid, reliable fast car at an affordable price.
Then I want to see a Firebird.

The GM concept is far better than the concept pictured above.
This Camaro concept posseses one of the main features that I always hated about Mustangs and that is that it looks like it is based off a sedan. Take any Mustang and you could add two more doors and it would not look weird or wrong. The same can now be said for the Camaro. It has proportions that are not far off from a sedan.

First of all, haven't all Camaros had a somewhat "pointy" front end? It is one of Camaro's traits....maybe a softening of that point would be good, I'm not too sure yet.
Again, what is with all the "boat" comments? Dimensionally, the car is shorter than the Mustang and over a FOOT shorter than the Challenger concept, speaking of "boats". I'm excited to get initial impressions from those lucky bastages that are going to the unveil. Then, I'll see for myself as early as next weekend.
