Re: a Finished 5th Gen....???

Wow, hats off to the GM team.

I think I will actually want to buy a GM other than a Vette.

I think right off the bat, I would change the grill and get rid of the 1/4 panel gills. I would also get rid of the ram air slit, and I'd like details on what the V6 version will have, power wise, etc.

To me, as long as my 2 kids and wife can ride in it with me, it will work.

I want it. Now.

Don't worry about them man! Besides I think our car will look alot more modern than their's by the time their's and ours comes out

Besides I feel like whatever Chevy and the General put out there was gonna be criticism anyways, it's not like its unusal for Chevy to get the most criticism out of the big 2.5 it's always been this way and it always will.

Also I love the car, it looks ticked off!

Now where's the order form, I want option Z28 in LeMans Blue please

HOW COULD YOU MAKE THE FRONT END LOOK WORSE THAN THE LEAKED PICS!!

Honestly the leaked pics had the front end looking fluid and sharp, now it looks dissconnected with the little slit scoop and mishaped grill.
The rest of the outside of the car looks great Scott, good job.
Interior, well that's another let down. Retro guages that aren't easy to read are NOT GOOD. Please give the car a modern usable dash and guages. We all know how important the dash layout and materials are, so don't let the car fall on it's face because this portion is retro and low grade materials.

I agree, the clay models had the front end complimented nicely by the boomerang bar.

Now that it's gone, it looks like it is missing something.

Anywho, I'll take mine in Black with Silver stripes.

Then the interior in black with aluminum accents.

Well, it looks better than the Charger and Mustang, but that's not really saying anything...It looks nice, but it's not a Camaro...It looks like it was designed with the same idea in mind as the 300, Charger, Challenger and Mustang...Needless to say I'm a bit disappointed. I was hoping for something, sleek, light and mean looking. This doesn't look to be that car...

GM, look here:

http://forums.clubsi.com/showflat.ph...35&an=0&page=0

Edit( No this is not a buch of Civic owners, the "Si vs All" portion of ClubSi is made up of car nuts. Maybe 2 poeple own Civics which is about 1% of the people on this portion of the Forum)

This is a board of people who are car enthusiasts, not Camaro loyal owners. None of the responses are too great. When the pics were leaked a few weeks ago, many more of them liked that car in the hopes it would be tweaked for the better. Looks like it was tweaked and became worse.

"HOW COULD YOU MAKE THE FRONT END LOOK WORSE THAN THE LEAKED PICS!!"

Grills can be popped off. Other things can (and probably will) be modified. I'm just glad that we finally have our baby back.

The negative responses are EXACTLY why people should wait to see it in person before spouting off.....besides, who gives a damned what ricers think anyway.....
