I like alot of things about it. Some things I wish were different. I want to see it in the flesh Monday before I form an opinion.

Well, I believe somethings are a little exagerated in it's styling, or at least I hope they are. But I am glad to see that the engine is under the hood and not the cowl! At least it better be with a engine compartment that big!

God you're a idiot. Some of us don't have the luxury of flying 1000 miles to the auto show, so we have to formulate our opinions based of the pictures we see.

Is that so hard to understand?

First of all, Doug is one of the most respected people on this board. Knock it off.

Second of all, before anyone goes throwing words around like "ugly" or have the opinion that they don't like it from one picture, maybe they should preface their comments with "...but I'd still like to see it in person before I make my final judgement."

Is THAT so hard to understand?

Calling whoever doesn't like car "ricers" is the epotime of maturity itself.

Anyways, I love the car. The aggressive stance is nice, but I do agree with most that the greenhouse looks kind of tight, but perhaps they'll work that out in the production phase.

It screams Camaro, I love it..

Conversely, are positive responses ok before you see it in person? Is it not possible that someone will like the pics and then dislike th actual car?

Boy, I sure hope that drivetrain info is as far off as it seems to be, that would be a nightmare honestly. The LS family is so awesome I sure hope they don't ditch it for some sub-5 liter faimily of DOHC low output crap motors...

I hate the pointy nose and sideview mirrors. Everything else is fine...unless they kept the crappy tail lights from the leaked sketches.

Re: a Finished 5th Gen....???

wow...just saw the pix (I think R & T pulled the video...can't seem to find it). My first reaction is that I feel like a piano just got lifted off of my head. I like it and will own it. Only sort of complaint is I think the nose is too pointy, but I'll wait until I see more angles of it before I really pass any serious judgment.

IT'S BACK! FINALLY!

is this true at all? I hope not. with all the aftermarket an LS based engine brings you would think chevy would put one of them in there.

Now, my personal opinion is it looks completely awesome. I hope they make some slight changes to the grill area but the rest of the car looks great. maybe by the time 2010 rolls around I'll be able to buy one in their 2nd or 3rd year

Note that the accronym spells SUCKA backwards, and cave fatuis means "beware the fools" in Latin.
