Ford
I am a general motors man through and through. But right now I am so grateful to the fine folks at Ford for bringing back all this muscle car business.
Also, I think its funny that Ford was first with the pony car. Two and half years later GM made it look better. Ford is first with the pony cars re-birth. Two and a half years later GM makes that look better too.

Re: Ford
I agree also, i tip my cap to Ford cause they have shown GM that thier is still a market for Sports cars and always will be. Ford has set the price bar and GM has to follow or beat which will be great for all of us and the Camaro.
But the Mudstang is still a POS that i will never drive...well mabey in a crusher...or over a cliff

Re: Ford
I gotta say if it wasnt for the Mustang and Nader would you be screaming for the Corvair comeback?
It took Mustang to realize a buisness case for Camaro the second time as well. Also it kept public perception from totally thinking Muscle cars are just old and imports such as Z350 are the future. The few people complaining now that the concept looks nothing like a Camaro, its always looked 4th gen. Imagine hearing imports have always ruled the tracks. I hear that at work time to time but if Mustang had folded it would have been true. Barring of course Vette Viper GT Getting enthusiast back from Ford is a hell of a lot easier than changed perceptions entirely. Damn gass prices, we need this thing running on Methenol, Ethenol or Alcohol. If it doesnt hit production soon you could run it on Geritol...J/K Thanks Bill

BTW...What "muscle car" will they have in 2007? How about 2008? 2009 looks pretty good though.

Re: Ford
Uhh? I give credit to Holden in Australia for keeping around the RWD platform and for bringing us the GTO in 04 before the 05 Mustang. I mean really Holden has kept GM alive in the RWD department even though it isnt over here yet.

Now if they can deliver all the above, and get the weight down 200 lbs from the GTO's weight...
