Maybe it could be an obscurr package like the COPO..?
Or.... maybe we can get some dealers to option/swap the LS7 in like Yenko, or Nickey etc..start some new legacy?
Complete with badges, and or striping?
I remember in 2002 GMMG came on board and built 69 ZL1's with LS6's from the Z06 for probably the finest 4th Gens made.
http://www.gmmginc.net/

Maybe they could built a 5th gen with the LS7 or even the LS9 or LSA for a hefty price albet.

That would be all good with me.

No rounding or faulty math needed. It's still 427 ci, I didn't chose to drop the .6 as most advertising and print ads or basic terminology has done. Either way it's not 428ci.
The LS1 was not quite 5.7L but that didn't stop GM from advertising it that way.
Ford is no different the 5.0L was actually 4.9L or 4942 cc, that didn't stop them from putting 5.0 on the fender.

I suppose this is where engineering and marketing cross paths.

Man, I go on vacation and I miss good trim level threads!!
I have thought about that as well. What if Z28 turns into a GT500 and not what a Z28 is to some of us? A big brute supercharged monster isnt what Z28 is to me.
Again, id rather see 500hp in a DI 6.2 then from a supercharged 6.2.
