If they can't make a video game, then what hope for the car
Ok I am on a rant.
As of today the damn game (which I now have a full-blown addiction to) is not playable.
I realize that the title of this post is harsh, but there is a point.
The game is as of now unplayable due to poor response from the server.
(BTW: I am in web software...trust me it's them)
This reflects very badly on Chevy as it's their freaking game/site!
If they cannot make a game about Chevy's run right...what hope for the freakin cars?
Every aspect of the Camaro has to be perfect...even the marketing...which this game is about. (Well ok, it isn't marketing the Camaro per se, but still....)
Or am I reading too much into this?

that said, i don't see how chevy's web site division has anything to do with the people that make, design, and engineer their cars... they are pretty much seperate entinties arent they?

Yes & no.
If it's got Chevy's name on it, it's Chevy. Period. Car, website, service center...doesn't matter.
I fully realize the site and car makers are different groups, however my issue is one of perception.
I now perceive Chevy differently given my negative experience with their marketing initiative.
That's my point. If they can't do an online game correctly (i.e.: have quality processes in their marketing initiatives), then perhaps the culture of quality is not what it should be for Chevy as a whole. I perceive this to have negative ramifications for the end products (i.e.: Camaro)
Well maybe this is quite a stretch...comments?

Did you realize we're in the top 100 ranked users?
I'm #71 and you're #76.
EDIT- Oops, I just changed rank. Now I'm 67.

I was on a roll until the site started screwing up. I had gotten as high as 20something........as of this a.m. I'm down to #91. GREAT!! And it still says I have 43 upgrade points available.........I'd be kicking some butt with those.

I don't know why I keep loading up the encrypted codes and looking at them. Complete gibberish, no pattern that I can discern at all.

Camaro Supreme here. I just want to finish in the top 2000 to get a couple free tickets.
email is cook_dw@hotmail.com if I am not online at the time. Later, Darrell

43 upgrade points!?!?!? How do you get THAT Many?
Are some of the options to upgrade not available to you? I can only upgrade the first 3 in the list (and they're all just about maxxed out).
