Thanks for Listening !
Was that sarcasm? I just went to Chevy.com and went to the color pallet for the Impala. 4 of the 10 colors were a shade of Silver or Blah. 4. Where I work there are ONLY 39 cars parked. 23 of them are either silver or blah. REALLY look next time you are on the road. Silver and Blah cars rule the streets. Is it really customer demand? or is it from a lack of choice?
The new Malibu doesn't offer a color pallet yet on the chevy site. But what color is the car when you open up Malibu? SILVER.

I'll take mine in Jet Stream Blue, but not if the paint is bad!

Sarcasm on my part? Yes, I Guess! - That was me getting pissed at GM after doing exactly what you did - looking at the Impala colors at chevrolet.com -

The colors there are like
Why can't GM use some C-O-L-O-R-S !!!

GM - Please check out my color chart selection in this post and use it in 2009, it would be greatly appreciated !

Camaro will get lots of cool colors, like the Vette does. While silver and tan do dominate some 50% or more of car colors, silver is popular because its viewed as luxury. I dont know why, guess we can thank MB for that.
Silver, Tan, Black. They are unoffending colors, stuff that people wont have objections too. They will be easy sales, without much trouble.
Im sure we will see a red metalic, a blue metalic, Id like to see an orange metalic like on the GTO's. It will get silver as the concept was silver, and most Camaro's i see are Pewter and Silver, especially LS1 Camaros.
Again, its what the customer seems to demand. I dont know why..but they want it.
I still want mine in Infrared.

I agree. 1999 was the best year for Camaro colors even though Bright Purple Metallic was dropped in 1998.

2001 and 2002 on the other hand... man... you couldn't get a non-Buick looking color except red and sunset orange!

We gotta have some nice, vibrant colors this time around. You just know the Challenger is going to come in orange, grass green, and plum crazy, so the Camaro needs to come in similar colors!

EXACTLY. With the rebirth of the 1960's Pony cars, the colors of that era are also reborn (at least over at the Dodge Camp.) I applaud them for thier new Plum Crazy Purple, Hemi Orange, and yes even the Sublime Green colors gracing the new Charger Daytonas. My Torred Red Daytona get's a LOT of attention because it stands out like a fart in church in a sea of Silver and Blah.

Oh - you guys wouldn't BELIEVE the grief I'm getting because my new car is YELLOW!!!!

I just traded in my '99 T/A WS6 (long, sad story) and because I just need basic transportation until the Camaro comes out (and refuse to get a Rustang) I got a Pontiac G5. Good on gas, not unpleasant to drive (if you know what to expect from a 4 cylinder) and for the price a really nice car. My wife (who's not a fan of yellow) and I looked at all of the cars on the dealer lot and among the red, black, silver, etc. was Yellow - and it's a nice color for the car.......but everyone I work with can't believe anyone would drive a crayon. I don't get it!

But that's all the more reason to get a yellow Camaro when they come out!

^Preach it brother! I'm dead set on getting a yellow one since I rarely see a yellow car around here, and I sure as hell want my car to stand out of the crowd....

And I'll bet those coworkers all drive silver or Blah cars.

Jet Stream Blue is a nice step in direction for shades of Blue for the Camaro, we just need a darker shade of blue that would pop like an electron blue or quasar blue but not be as bright as a Jet Stream, and the dark blue GM currently offers doesn't pop enuff.

YUP!! Every one is blah!! And I gotta say, after driving the car for a couple of weeks I find I'm liking yellow more and more as time goes on! I mean, I expected to like it better than black for keeping clean, but it's a genuinely attractive color. A far cry from the pale (read: ugly) yellow Camaros and Firebirds of old....

Metallic Black. Just close your eyes and imagine it. Go on, do it.

Isn't it glorious? 2010 convertible. I'm saving already.

I personally have nothing against yellow. I actually like it on some vehicles. That said, I'd never own a yellow vehicle.

Yellow is, in my area and by almost everyone I know, universally considered a 'gay' or 'girly' color.
