The F5 would have to be mighty damn awesome (like includes a **** polisher as standard equipment) to sway me away from Mustang. A bigger trunk and heritage (not retro) styling isn't enough.

Come to think of it, neither is an IRS. I'll certainly lament the passing of Mustangs SRA, If the S-197 is the last Mustang with an SRA, I'll just have to save up instead of trade in for my next car.

you are free to discuss anything you want. I'm simply commenting on the tone of all the subjects you raise.

search every thread you've started and find one related to the 5th gen where you've even hinted at something optimisitc or postitve.

I think you're missing Hyundai's true mark. Based on the Hyundai RWD Coupes styling, its clearly aimed more at the likes of the Nissan Z than Mustang or Camaro. Heck with Toyota having no perfomance coupe and Honda having only the Civic and Accord, Hyundai could easily steal that market segment away from the Japanese manufacturers.

In addition the seal of a B pillar to door window will be much better than the seal from the 1/4 window to the door window. I understand there are many reasons in favor of a B pillar. Pick one. Its a little bit agrivating to hear people complain about what youve been saying when they dont understand what you were saying in the first place...

Not true at all. And abit unfair actually.

There's very little point in spending time on an enthusiast message board, if you don't speak the truth as you see it.

In this thread in particular, discussing the competition is anything but "doom and gloom" as I see it.

I know you feel uncomfortable when people don't toe the party line as you see it, and that's your right too.

It'll be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

IMO the Hyundai will for the "tuners" tired of FWD. I suspect there will be some, but not a lot of, cross shopping it against the Camaro.

I think you're right. I don't think there will be much cross-shopping by performance-minded buyers... until/unless the Hyundai gets a V8, at which point all bets are off.

"Speaking the truth" is what you may call it. I would call it "expressing your opinion". I've never challenged you for that. I'm questioning why you always have to promote your opinions in such a pessimistic manner.

and excuse me, but how on earth do you know what makes me feel uncomfortable? Have at least one conversation with me before you start assuming you know how "I see things".

I don't know Art. If Chevy lists the Eclipse as a Camaro competitor, I can only imagine this Hyundai as a more direct competitor.
