Heheheh...never thought about that. Drag radials might give it away...but it sure would look cool, IMO.

Boy, I dunno...to put C5 rotors and calipers on a 4th gen Camaro you need a 17" wheel at a minimum and if I remember right, a certain Firebird 17" wheel won't even clear for some reason. I think a C5 rotor is 12.8" in diameter (someone please correct me on this one). The SS Brembo rotors are 14"+. I'd be interested to see how that works out.

I would like the 20" style in an 18" offering.

Now that I've seen it photoshopped onto the car, I'm even more sure that the 18" aluminum wheel is my favorite. I'd want it in a form that fits over the big brakes, though, which is probably going to be at least 19".

well.......as you can see -- people feel strongly one way or another.........that's why we offer choices.

We will also offer some additional wheels as dealer installed options --

On second thought the 18" aluminum might go well on my 91 if the bolt pattern is the same. I would prefer something wider than 7.5 inches on my SS or Z28.The wheel sizes according to the specs are:
18 x 7.5 with 245/55R18
19 x 8 with 245/45R19
20 x 8 with 245/45ZR20 for the front of the SS
20 x 9 with 275/40ZR20 for the rear of the SS
Even the 275s for the rear of the SS seem kind of narrow although I bet they will cost a pretty penny.

I wonder if ZR1 wheels will fit (19 x 10 front with 285/30ZR19 and 20 x 12 rear with 335/25ZR20s ) Those are going to be some expensive tires.

And just think how you could paint the steel wheels to either match the color of the car (ala certain Pontiac Rally II wheels) or a contrasting color.
I like the steels.

And I bet GM could sell a TON of those over the counter to people who want a bigger rim on their older cars but don't want something modern looking.

steel wheel? its freaking 2008 not 1978. I still get tired of seeing steel wheels on any cars today

big thing I dont like about all these new cars is the huge wheel wells. Even with 20s you still have high profile sidewalls in comparison to a 4th gen. 18s on a 4th gen look great, but on these newer cars are disgusting because of the 50 series tires

Or anything else, accessory wise, for that matter.

I'm interested to see the optional 21" wheels.

As it stands now, I'd be getting the 20" wheels in Competition Gray (if it's available).
