Make the brake scoops functional if they aren't already. One plus about the 94-95 Mustangs over the other SN95 cars. And make the convertible top latch and secure tight so it doesn't leak when parked on an angle(as in on door higher than the other)

Maybe actually adding input that has something to do with reality would be more beneficial.

I love how the Camaro is shaping up so far! It's on its way to being a magnificent performance value, with knockout styling, world-class safety and an ergonomic interior.

I can only think of two words in what I might request:

Metallic Orange

-I agree. Nice LED guage backlighting please. Looks so much cleaner, lasts forever and consumes hardly any power. I'm sure they've thought of this already but what the heck.

-Color trim options for the interior that match the exterior. I think the GTO pulled this off pretty well and it can add alot of character to an interior.

-I also agree with Z284ever, please get it into their heads to not use the GT500 as a benchmark. I'd much prefer a BMW M3 coupe as a top drawer Camaro benchmark if they need something to shoot for.

YES!!! I forgot all about this. Not just a passthrough hole, either. The whole seat should fold down (in multiple sections if possible), and the resulting surface should be as flat as possible.

Ability for the SC motor to accept mods, i.e. using forged internals to allow pulley swaps. They don't have to go so far as to use dry sump oiling, but good forged pistons/crank/rods etc would be great. Also, having LT's available for dealer install so they don't void the p/t warranty would be awesome!

Well, here is a big one I think at least:
  • Marketing: TV Ads are really getting to be a pain when it comes to what you can show and what you can't. I loved the "Kids Dream" Corvette commercial. And I also loved the "Suicide Machine" and the general public also loved them. So, do you cool commercials with the Camaro.... and release them right to the internet... don't waste your time with the TV.. times have changed...
  • Transformers: You guys hit a homerun with this one.. keep it up. After the 3rd one is done... you guys should keep it going like the X-men movies... with spin offs. Sorry i can't get enough transformers.
  • Mods: Here is a big one... make it easier for us the enthusiast. Don't let the A-hole dealers tell us that because we changed the tips on the exhaust they can't do warranty work on the engine...

as for the car itself.. the ONLY thing that bothers me a little is the backup lights.. that has been brought up before here. It won't take away from the fact that I will buy one eventually.

Ive already posted in this thread, but I just want to emphasize a couple things. Especially if any GM brass are gonna see/hear this.

Customizability: This car should have one of the longest options list of any new car. Some people want a fully loaded, leather everything, navagation, 1.21 Jigawatt stereo, bluetooth, Ipod connection, chrome trim, etc, etc.
And thats fine, Give it to them. Think HS girls, or people that want a very nice car and dont care about performance.
Others want a stripped down, cloth interior, no power options, basic CD AM/FM stereo. Give it to them. The more extreme end of the enthusiast. They want a solid car, thats gonna see more time burning rubber, burying speedo needles, and spends more time in the staging lanes than the other car I just mentioned does at the mall.
Some may want somthing in the middle. Give it to them.

Basically, I should be able to order my Camaro the way I want it.
This is how you will be able to sell cars to just about anyone on the spectrum. I know GM has spent a lot of time and money on this car.
And we thank you for listening to us. You have given us half of what we want by bringing it back. The other half will be judged depending on what arrives at the dealers and whats written on the options list.

For the performance enthusiast, afterall it is a Camaro.
When a Z/28 pulls next to a Mustang GT at a light, we should not have to worry about anything. Same for the SS VS Cobra, or whatever competing trim levels are out at the time. Weve been reading some positive things about possible drivetrains, please dont dissappoint us.
Hopefully we will be surprised...And in a good way
I have been a diehard Camaro fan for as far back as I could remember.
Growing up in a Hot Rodding family is very nice, I recall my mom, pulling up in a 2nd gen to pick me and my sister up from school. Along with many other notable cars. However the Camaros hold my fondest memories.
The 5th gen will hopefully be my first new car and I cannot wait to see what will be available.

Thank you for listening

1) More attractive/flowing dash and instrument panel/cluster.

2) HID Xenon as an option.

3) Nav option.

4) Curb weight no more than 3500 pounds

Even cheesy Mazda 3's have HID as an option, and some Mustangs have Navigation. No reason we should not have the ability to outfit with these modern items.

Also I'm concerned about interior headroom. When purchasing my 4th gen... inspite of me setting my power driver's seat at its lowest setting, I had to go with t-tops because my head hit the roof on the coupe.

I don't want this to be the case with the 5th gen. I DON'T plan on ordering the sunroof or convertible.

Also I want a stripe package! (e.g. like the convertible concept.)

Adding on to this question....

How do you anticipate taller gentlemen fitting in the driver seat, now compared to the 4th gen the car has a more upright stance? I'm 6'6"

I would like HID's as an option, LED angel eyes, heated seats as an option, stereo controls on steering wheel, OnStar delete option, hood and trunk struts, and two tone interior ala G8.

Not sure if this has been touched upon yet, but how about a good license plate holder for the front. It'd be nice if it could be similar to how the C5 Vettes, and 4th Gen Firebirds were where if you choose not have a plate, it doesn't ruin the front end.
