Good luck on Tuesday with Congress. I wish your corporations (and the future United States) the best.

Setting aside opinions on whether the bailout is right or wrong, America needs the car companies. (I personally have flipped my opinions several times over this historic disaster.)

If approved by Congress, I truly hope that the entire leadership at the top of these companies learn from the near-death experience.

I'm not sure they have to make a presentation to Congress (seeing as Congress had nothing to do with this loan).
They either have to present something to the president or, more likely, the treasury secretary.
My guess. I could be wrong.
I did read that they were not going to Washington for this. Most of it will be done by e-mail.

What scares me is this bill is massive and they jammed it through for a vote.
Why? Who actually had time to sift through it and find out what is really in it and the actual details. Time will tell.
