Just bite the bullet - no half way, 90% is good enough crap.

Standard across the board, overall lower cost since you are only designing/making one type of light. And it will give everyone that "upscale" look.

I retro fitted real HID in my Cobalt SS . After having HID , I dont wanna go without it again . I would pay extra for .

Both my BMW with projector HIDs and an 02 Acura TL and a 98 Lexus LS400 with normal reflector HIDs have superior lighting to the normal reflector incandescent headlights in my 99 Camaro and my 99 Grand Cherokee.

As expected, the projetors in the BMW do have the sharpest cutoff, but both the TL's and the LS400's HID reflectors are just about as good to my eye.

Indeed some folks would agree with you, but I have not had issue with them even in oncomming traffic (I don't have them on my cars). I think there are problems from poorly aimed set-ups - esp. some of the kits that people install, but this applies to any headlights. Plenty of people cannot seem to grasp that low beams are not supposed to point at the sky.

I find the low-beam headlights from oncomming Trucks and SUVs are far more detrimental to my ability to see at night.
