Has anyone considered this?

With all the talk about how 4th gens were horrible and all that, one thing I believe is always overlooked. For lack of a better term, I'll call it the "windows down appeal." Lets compare my '02 Z with the wifes '04 Ram. With mine you can can put both windows all the way down and its a nice cool breeze that comes through the car that doesn't take away from being able to hear your stereo/passenger talking/etc. Even with the T-Tops down I can still hear my stereo fine. Now lets take the Ram...ever been outside on an annoyingly windy day right before a storm hits? Even with one window down it feels like a dang wind tunnel. You couldn't even hear the stock stereo system and you can pretty much forget hearing the wife talk to you...which in my case translates to "windows up." I'm somone that never has the AC on unless I absolutely have to. So the "windows down appeal" is a huge thing for me. It will also be a huge thing in considering my next camaro. So kudos to GM for the 4th Gen...now lets carry it over.

May be a repost. If so apologies.

I think your talking about wind buffeting. My Cobalt is not very good at over 100km/h. My thirdgen Camaro was great that way.

Dude, we've got nine threads going on the cabin decibel levels, with the windows down, regarding 2002 Camaro vs 2004 Dodge Ram.

Please do a search next time!

Yea, I noticed that windows up or down, my car has very quiet wind noise compared to other cars I've driven.

Oh and P.S....**** whoever said that 4th gens sucked.

I think it's because they are so long they direct the flow of air into the back rarther on you.

I like it, you can drive with the drive window down and it makes a nice not too much breeze
