Has the camaro lost its muscle???

I remeber when I first saw a pic of the 4th Gen. It was a V6 Camaro in green and I thought; GM why did you just round off the 3rd Gen? But one look in person at the Auto Show and I was hooked.
Now while I swooned over the concept pics in 2006 and loved what I saw. The car did seem to be bulky and tall. And while I was ok with that seeing it and the convert in person really did the car justice. It's more svelt and tight than it looks in pics.
That's why it's ALWAYS the best choice to see a car in person before casting judgement. Lot's of the hysteria here over spy pics is nonsense and there are many here whom will get to say I told ya so until they are blue in the face when the car is launched.

Yeah, I agree that seeing it in person makes all the difference. When I first saw pictures of the '98 TA, I didn't like it until I saw them on the road. Then I debated the WS6, and saw pictures and HATED it......then I got a model kit......then I saw one in person and was SOLD! It had such a different look compared to pictures - I was floored and ever since I've been a firm believer of the "see it in person" club.

but i see a lot of the concept in the pre-p and hope it retains the svelte muscular square look and i might have to put a bit of spoiler to square out the back because right now it looks to circular almost like its trying to be a bmw

I'm pretty sure the rear bumper had to grow for safety reg reasons. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this...
And I actually kinda like the pre-prod rear better. The concept's always looked a little flat. The pre-prod's has shape but isnt too rounded IMO.

I agree. The name of the thread was rather retarded. With a 6.2 Liter V8 it could be pink with white dots and still have muscle.

In that titanium color, maybe with black stripes, sitting next to a Challenger or a Mustang at a stoplight, that thing is going to look awesome -- and NOBODY is going to suggest that there's any muscle missing. GM has done a brilliant job.
