I said that under the belief that the viewer would look at the concept pics for what they were; simply concept pics as opposed to production cars. I just hope that other enthusiasts, especially the general public, will continue to give the upcoming 5th gen the breathing room it still deserves.

However, you are right: I was naive to think that everyone would take things FWIW and nothing more.

Actualy, I ment the opposite. The car was very well recieved on GMI from the handful of posts I read out of the 26-28 pages.
But I frequent other boards like NazyZ28, and my own NJFBOA, and they didnt like the leaked pics, and want the Challenger.
I hear the same "GM needs to get with it and create a retro Camaro and it needs to have a 454 with dual carbs and a M-22 with 4.10s in a 12 bolt" crap wherever I go.

I think he is trying to say that he likes the Challenger concept ALOT better than the Camaro concept. I also kinda think he has to wait the 2 weeks to and see the Camaro concept anyways seeing how he can't buy either car for a while.

Don't forget, you just dissed the new camaro on one of the most die hard parts of the site. You're going to get jumped now for any mistakes you make.

Sort of like those GTO "enthusiasts" when the '04 1st came out, huh?

If the leaked pics are representative of the 5th gen, the Challenger has a clear advantage in the styling department IMO. And based on recent history, interior design may really give DC the edge. And how about this, before you start making cracks about 2 ton "sports cars", wait and see how much the 5th gen and the Challenger actually weigh?
Its funny how so many guys get their panties in a wad when someone says they prefer the F body competitor, be it Mustang, Challenger, import car, whatever. Do people no longer have a right to an opinion? Why is it that you internet tough guys (you know who you are) can't see any point of view other than your own?

No one should expect the opposite to some degree. You don't go on a Linux web site and spout off about how great Microsoft is without basically asking for people to differ and be vocal about it.

Everyone has an opinion, but some opinions are not always welcome and common sense should come into play when and where they are presented. Unless I missed it, I don't see anyone playing the "internet tough guy" role in this thread. If anything, it is the people saying the car is junk years before it is even built and based on an unfinished concept.

Didn't mean to single you out, but what I was mentioning was slightly common.

Some what it more retro, others want it less retro. Some love it, others can't stand it...

Eye of the beholder, everyone. Wait until you see the finished concept, and then again, wait until you see it in person.

I think this guy just came to stir up some shite. Looks like he succeeded, judging by the length of this thread.

The premis of this thread and his other posts borders on trolling.
