Yes they do come to think about it but then I liked the 57 I used to have

 

I like a nice '57 as well....but I don't think it's styling elements ought to be carried over on a 21st century Camaro, IMO.

 

Ya know what . The more you look at it they dont just look like it , I think those ARE the actual 57 headlight bezels in the Camaro . Probably just a very resourceful designer , knowing the design wasnt gonna stay as is , couldnt blow the dough for one off fabbed pieces .

 

The concept's instrament bezels are squarer than the 57 headlamp bezels.

Funny.......for whatever reason, the first time I saw them, they reminded me of some sort of Chrysler from the 60s......I can't remember which one.......

I don't think you'll see the same exact design on a production car.

As to the gauges on the console......I agree that they are not driver friendly....but they ARE a design cue of early Camaros........(and Nova SSs, by the way.......) My suggestion is to package them with HUD.

 

Honestly, I hope they look nothing like that. Give me a clean functional and easy-to read pod like a 4th Gen's.

Again Scott, I'd love to see optional HUD, but I humbly request that you don't force me to buy HUD because I can't stand the guage pods that stare at me on a daily basis.

 

Gauges on the console should stay. That is a cool feature that will set the Camaro apart from any other performance car.
