I really like this pic

Id paste it in but it says its copywright. I am assuming that also means its not a GM press release pic. One of the best ones Ive seen in a while...

The tips are around a real exhaust pipe exit. Unless you meant something else?

The production car could very well change regardless.

Must be, because I think you're the only one that can see the gas tank from the top of a car.

Unless you're talking about the gas filler cap...

What's wrong with the gas cap/inlet area? I like it there because it doesn't hurt any of the car's lines....and I never liked the look of a cut-out square that opens... But keep a towel in the trunk or on the floor in the back so you can wipe off fuel that drips onto the car if this location stays...

EDIT: after looking at it more..I really don't see them moving the location without it looking more awkward IMO..

lol...yeah thats what i ment...it just slipped my mind at the moment

but nah...like im thinking like just a bit lower on the side....like the top seems to be one of those spots were ur gonna have fuel drippin all over the car everytime the gas attendent fills ur car up

Not that big of a deal, Corvettes had the filler cap horizontal on the at the rear from 1963-1996.
