for the IBM lovers... and anyone else that likes 5th Gens....

guionM,
There is be nothing more that I would love than to be photographer for the big car companies... especially you know which one. This is a passion of mine and I love doing it. I have just started and I am sure this is my calling. I have found what I really want to do. (web design for the goverment is boring) lol
I know some people at GM (Mr SS and a guy that actually worked on programing of the Camaro, he used it as a wallpaper on his computer) have seen it but not necessarily the key people at GM photography. From my understanding GM hires a marketing firm and they are the ones that hire the photographers.
But if you know of a more direct route or if you can put in a good word that would be great. I know you are more into the industry that I am.
I have tried sending my work out to Magazines but not much luck. I really feel like I can deliver great photography but I can't find a way to make the connection to the people that need it.
Anyway, if you have some free minutes check out some of my Non-IBM Camaro SS Photos lol

And thanks for the kind words.

Re: for the IBM lovers... and anyone else that likes 5th Gens....
Thanks... IBM is a very interesting and difficult color to work with (photography wise) It's got a very dark blue... which at night it looks black but in the sun it looks like a real nice blue.
It's like having 2 cars. One blue that you drive at day and a black one that you drive at night.
I love the color.

Hi! I just took delivery of my IBM 2011 Camaro on Wednesday and LOVE IT! I agree that the color is unique and that's why I picked it. I do have a question for you...is your nose a different blue? I just noticed today (in the sunlight) that the nose (plastic vs metal) isn't as metallic as the hood and it's a slightly different shade of blue. Just wondered if this was normal on all IBM Camaro's or if I should say something to the dealer.
Thanks and happy driving!!!

I haven't noticed that on my 2011 yet. I'll take a look tomorrow if the skies are clear out.

It is just just IBM. Cyber Gray also has the same issue, along with other colors. It also depends a lot on lighting and viewing angle.

That's what I like about this color... is like 3 shades of blue in one. Straight sun is nice blue if not directly in the sun it's a nice dark blue... but at night it might as well be black. .
