If you had 100k...

I already did! We're currently agressively working on the debt-free part, and we already give over 10% to charities such as our church, Habitat for Humanity, World Vision, and Nature Conservacy.
Except... I'd probably also add a Yamaha FJR1300 onto the shopping list, just for sunny days when there wasn't anything else to do.

I'd have to get the Top Dog and slap 2 turbos on it. This solves my dilema of buying the base V-8 and adding turbos or just buying the Top Dog from the start. Ahhh, decisions I wouldn't mind having a '67 or'68 Z28 either.

You know, Ive actually thought about this alot. I was thinking that if someone had a 100 grand to throw around at a car, the James Bond style comes to mind. He was driving a pretty sweet DBS in the new one, and that made me think that most rich guys probably prefer Euro-cars, and for a good reason. There is a lot of prestige, or exotic feel about those cars where most american cars cant compete in that sense. Hell, the closest we come in the aspect of "prestige" is Cadillac (and yes, Caddy will get there someday). But even I wouldnt spend 100 K on the top of the line Caddy either even though I am a big fan of what Cadillac is doing. I just have a certain taste is all. I love a lot of european cars, like the Porsches and Ferraris that guys have been talking about on this thread. But still, I have to say that if I to throw the 100 K question out of the equation and just straight say that if I was to have one car for the rest of my life, I would still have to say 2009 Camaro all the way. There is that other part of me that wants the Vette because the Vette is after all the car that got me into cars. But I have been lusting after the 67 Camaro since the day I saw it and Im totally in love with the lines of the 2009. Its all I ever wanted in a car. So I guess my decision is based partly on loyalty, and mostly on infatuation. So the Camaro might not be exotic, but whenever I imagine myself as a millionaire, Im not driving an Aston Martin...Im driving a very dark grey, almost black, Camaro.

as much as I agree with the house/debt free stuff, etc... I think the question asked is more like "would you buy a higher end vehicle instead of the Camaro, if you could afford it easily and have no choice but to buy a new car, already live in a beautiful house, are completely debt free, and yes swk1955, already have all the hookers you can imagine"

Threads like these almost always never work out and turn out to be pointless because the majority of people are incapable of using their imagination and thinking hypothetically. Even though the question never specified that the $100k had to be spent on a car, it i fairly clear what he was trying to ask. I am sure that given $100k we would all try and spend it wisely and not lavishly by buying down our debt etc.

Now that you've cleared that up...I'd buy 3 really fine hooters girls to pose on my Camaro everytime I park it!
Like this guy did...http://www.mach1registry.org/photopo...o=6926&cat=516
Although that would really cut out any room to fit a friend, mayber 2 hooters girls would be better?
