Nothing so lofty here. I left Jason and Chris a voicemail as a follow up to the last week's Podcast.

I know the secret... tell your dealer to add the special RPO code 'STFU' to get the limited CamaroZ28.com edition package. Twin Turbo, Supercharged big block, 3000 lbs, 18in wide tires, 50 mpg, 10,000 hp, out the door $199.99 (plus tax).

Don't forget the $200 rebate!

Heh...I am already talking to manufacturers for making the emblems made. I have a prototype in process. No kidding!

Please review this link if you haven't already:

And once you do, you will know that in this case, it was meant to be a humorous parody of letter designations for the Camaro model lineup.
Having said that, STFU is a common Internet shortcut for "Shut The F*** Up".
Again, meant to be purely humorous and not offensive to anyone.

I agree. IF the Z28 ever makes it to production, it will not be released the 1 st model year, they need to just stick with what they have for now and get this car released and out into the public!

Hmm, I just had a thought about this, and I hope I'm wrong.
I have a feeling that GM will be doing a similar program to what they did with the Pontiac Solstice and the first 1000. With that, they worked with the TV show "The Apprentice" (also on NBC like My Own Worst Enemy) and they gave out a web site and a code to enter. Then you went to the website, entered the code, and received a "confirmation" number. Then, the next day you took the "confirmation number" to the Pontiac dealer and tried to place an order for one of the "first 1000" Pontiac Solstice. The program was nice in that you received some cool freebies and had a numbered edition car, but the execution was horrible with the online code and ordering the next day. They sold the first 1000 cars in about 40 minutes and for about half of the 40 minutes that ordering was open there was so much traffic that GM's ordering system was unavailable.
I just hope they don't try to spring something like this on us at the last minute since I haven't heard anything about this yet and Monday is only a few days away.
