Okay! We just wrapped up the show a bit ago and it went great!
I will let some info slip...
We had Cheryl Pilcher (Camaro Product Manager - "Fbodsister Cheryl") and John Fitzpatrick - "Father John") in the CamaroZ28.Com Podcast studio tonight for a very cool and very informative episode.
No, we will not release any information until 8:00am EST, so don't even ask. We were told that no one else has some of the info provided to us so if it gets out there early, someone will be fired, sued, and possibly neutralized FBI style.
We do address a few questions in this show and then some!

Here's something that is very very important to remember...this was mentioned a few times during the episode...
You can change your order up until the time that it is preferenced. So, you can place your order tomorrow and have plenty of time to change or cancel it, at least a couple of months. This might set some of you at ease about ordering.

My buddy changed his vette order before it got preferenced (changed from polished to chrome wheels) and it was no problem whatsoever, so order away tomorrow, and you will have PLENTY of time to make any changes to your order, or cancel it for that matter if something doesn't turn out right for you.

It starts on the computer, but there are a there are a number of ways to listen to the show.
- In iTunes and on your iPod (if you use Itunes, be sure to subscribe to our show!)
- Downloading the MP3 file from the Podcast forum when it is released and playing it with Winamp, Windows Media Player or ANY program on your computer or ANY device that that plays MP3s.

The Podcast was indeed excellent. Just a little disappointed that GM trumped you and released the pricing at Midnight; kind of wish you guys had gotten the thunder (and credit). So far as what actually happened?
1) The V6 will be an instant hit; my guess is 2:1 in sales to the V8.
2) A little disappointed that with all the "build yourself a comparable Mustang" that the V8 didn't come in closer to it. Don't confuse that with it slowed or stopped me from ordering this morning; still a great bang for the buck- just roughly 1500-2k more than I expected (for the 2SS anyways). In the end, it didn't matter to me; but from reading here and on other Boards, it DID force a good number of people to rethink, wait, and/or drop down to the V6.
3) Had an excellent experience with my dealer, Paddock. Very courteous and professional. Thought that maybe bringing them two dozen donuts would get me invoice pricing, but oh well...
4) You guys here at CZ28 should be applauded for all the time you've spent here, egging us on when you had to, divulging the info you could, and creating a Board for all of us 5th Gen fans to be proud of.

The podcast was excellent. I'd love for members of the Camaro Team to check in periodically to answer questions directly.
Maybe it could be a regular feature of the podcast to answer one question a week?

I have not had a chance to listen to the Podcast from this morning yet, too busy ordering my car at the dealer...I was wondering if anything was mentioned about the interior ambient lighting, if it is still supposed to be part of the 2SS package.
